Meet The Founder

Shawn “Handy” Hodge has transformed his passion for architecture into both a successful career and a sustainable wealth-building enterprise. A proud graduate of Howard University’s prestigious School of Architecture, he has built a reputation for strategically acquiring and rehabilitating properties, consistently generating long-term value while demonstrating sound investment acumen.
Before launching his real estate investment career, Handy served as a United States Army logistics officer, completing multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. His military service instilled the discipline, leadership, and strategic foresight that now underpin his success in business. Rising to the rank of Captain, promotable to Major, he ultimately chose to follow his lifelong passion for architecture and apply those principles of discipline to his entrepreneurial pursuits.
Handy professional journey includes experience at several top-ranked architecture firms, where he developed a strong foundation in design and project execution. Experiencing the volatility of the industry firsthand, particularly during the Great Recession, he resolved to create a more stable and resilient path—one that combined financial security, independence, and generational wealth creation through real estate investment.

Today, Handy owns and manages a diverse portfolio of investment properties across the British Virgin Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, New Mexico, and Detroit. He has become a recognized expert in remote investing, leveraging market research, strategic analysis, and strong partnerships with contractors and fellow investors to successfully manage acquisitions and development projects outside his Atlanta base.
In addition to his professional achievements, Handy is deeply committed to advancing community-focused investment strategies. He is a strong advocate of the “Buying Back the Block” initiative, which empowers minority communities by reclaiming blighted properties and fostering pathways to ownership. Central to his philosophy is a disciplined “buy-and-hold” investment approach, emphasizing long-term value creation over short-term gains.
Driven by both passion and purpose, Mr. Hodge continues to expand his portfolio and influence within the real estate sector, while remaining dedicated to building legacy wealth and revitalizing communities.

Let’s reclaim our communities—one home at a time—by buying the land back and building generational wealth in the process. This isn’t just about real estate; it’s about legacy, ownership, and empowering future generations.

Together, we can invest in the neighborhoods that shaped us, restore what’s been lost, and create opportunities that last. Whether you’re a fellow investor, a community leader, or simply someone who believes in collective progress, there’s a role for you in this movement.
